Twenty years, around 100 wonderful staff, two state-of-the-art workshops and countless awards - the Ken Mills Toyota story keeps growing and evolving.

Yes, Toyota may be in the Mills’ family DNA, but the Ken Mills Toyota story is not just about us. Our “About Us” is about the whole Ken Mills Toyota family, and they don’t all have the Mills surname. It’s about Jess Freeman, our Cheif Financial Officer who has been with Ken Mills Toyota for over 14 years. It's about Tony Hunter who has been with the company since before the Mills Family took over the dealership in 2002 and Taylah, one of our Service Advisors who saw so many friends lose jobs during the 2020 downturn but felt secure because Ken Mills Toyota is her “other family.” We’ve been a part of the Sunshine Coast business community for decades, and that’s our story – and the reason our customers keep coming back.

Ken Mills Toyota Sunshine Coast

Ken Mills Toyota has two dealerships here on the Sunshine Coast, making it the biggest Toyota dealership in the region. Since 2002, the Maroochydore and Nambour sites have been home to hundreds of local staff and thousands of wonderful customers.

Brett Mills (aka Millsy)

Brett Mills was born into the Toyota family. He and wife Caroline are Sunshine Coast locals and own and operate the family business – Brett himself is in the dealership every day. Toyota is in Brett’s blood. Like his dad before him, Brett and Caroline believe that the very best local business is always where the staff feel like part of the family and customers know that they can always rely on “Ken Mills Toyota” for a good, honest deal.

With over $150,000 donated annually, and our Netball partnership program, we’re very proud of the impact we are making on the Sunshine Coast community.

In 2018, the Ken Mills Toyota Ambassador Program launched with six Professional netballers partnering with the business - an association of which we are very proud.

Since the company’s inception, multi award-winning Ken Mills Toyota Nambour and Maroochydore has grown to a family of nearly 100 highly trained and talented staff including Toyota-trained Technicians and an accredited 2020 Fleet Specialist team. We are also incredibly proud to be recognised as the QLD Toyota Finance & Insurance Dealer of the Year and the QLD Toyota Access Dealer of the Year in 2018.

Giving Back to our Community

When our team isn’t working on mobility solutions for guests, they can be found running the now infamous annual ‘Millsy’s Pop-Up Restaurant’ which has raised in excess of $200,000 in the last five years for Sunshine Coast’s children’s charities - SunnyKids & Give Me 5 for Kids.

We also give back a further $150,000 every year in sponsorships and grants to a variety of community partners, sporting groups and charity organisations including STEPS Pathways College, Coolum Beach SLSC, Woombye Snakes FC, Sundale Community Foundation and RACQ Lifeflight Rescue.

The team at Ken Mills Toyota is also very proud of our Ken Mills Toyota Ambassador Program which was launched in 2018 in partnership with six professional Sunshine Coast netballers.
